Carol Downing

Carol is the company founder and retains a hands on role with all clients, overseeing the strategy and direction of all communication programmes. Carol began her career in the construction industry and spent several years as a communications manager for a multi- national Plc. Her experience as a client means that the CDC service is firmly focused on meeting client’s needs and exceeding expectations. Since starting the business in 1992, Carol has been responsible for developing the business, widening the client base and expanding the range of services offered.

Megan Dunmore

Megan is an experienced PR consultant and strategist with more than 20 years experience with several top Birmingham agencies. At CDC she manages a number of key accounts and contributes to the development of the business.

Paula Perry

Paula has substantial experience on a wide range of accounts. She is responsible for managing the day to day operations as well as co-ordinating suppliers of print, design and photography.

Eve McLoughlin

Eve has over five years experience in Public Relations, working at a number of Midlands-based full service agencies. A naturally skilled writer, Eve has also been involved in organising various events and launches for national companies. Eve handles a selection of the interiors accounts at Carol Downing Communications.

Martine Layland
A BSc Honours graduate of Brunel University and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Martine Layland has gained marketing communications experience in a number of disciplines, both in-house and within an agency environment.

With a background in the automotive and commercial property industries, Martine has experience of working with a variety of business-to-business clients, helping them to raise their profile and improve relationships with their key audiences.

Martine is a consultant to Carol Downing Communications and also works independently.
